Linda is a firm believer that this block can be as versatile as a Nine Patch block, she willshow you just that in this presentation. She has four books published, each showing a variety of quilts using the New York Beauty block. You’ll see traditional, whimsical and modern quilts, all made using her unique technique for creating a perfect New York Beauty block on the first attempt using just ONE pin!
She'll also share some insights into the publishing process of how books evolve from the beginning concept through when they get to the quilter!
Linda is animated, energetic and a very entertaining speaker ~ lots to enjoy!

Inspired by the Parks
Vicki shares her inspiring journey through the national parks and how she combines photo inspiration and imagination to make graphic style art quilts.
Her journey includes not only her travels to 53 national parks but also many other national park units including monuments, wildlife refuges, historic sites and cultural sites.
She will share a few funny stories as well as history and facts about the parks. She will also speak a little about the various techniques she uses. Turned edge machine piecing, fussy piecing, silk screening and improv piecing.

Krista Moser will share her experience and approach to achieving color profiles in her quilt designs. She will share tips, tricks, and shortcuts to get your desired look while shopping for new fabric or collecting from your stash!
Look at the synergy between colors in a new way and get that wow factor in your future project.
Krista started sewing at 8 years old. She began her professional sewing and machine quilting career at 14 and has been teaching for more than 20 years now.
Her dyslexia has played an important role in her designing success. She designed the 60 Degree Diamond Rulers f or Creative Grids with more development all the time.

Finding Joy through Quilting
Mathew is excited to share the main techniques that have enriched his quilting experience: English Paper Piecing, Improv Piecing, and Fabric Weaving. Each technique has not only enhanced his skills but has also deepened his sense of presence in the moment. By exploring these methods, he found a pathway to joy that will hopefully inspire all of you.
Mathew’s journey into and through quilting has been a transformative experience that goes beyond mere creativity. It provided a sense of community and a space where he could truly discover his authentic self. Through quilting, he learned to embrace and love who he is, finding inner peace in a world often filled with chaos and distraction. This simple pursuit of joy through quilting became a vital part of his life, allowing him to connect with others while nurturing his own spirit.
Together, we can celebrate the art of quilting and the profound impact it can have on our lives.

Learn the influences, trends and fashions of the last 30 years as seen through Kathy’s unique perspective. As an obsessed quilter for over 30 years, she’s been uniquely poised to work with the best the industry has to offer in textiles, designers and techniques. Started as a self - taught quilter before falling headfirst into owning a patchwork shop. Material Obsession opened in 2003 and quickly became known for creativity.
Included are stories and observations about the industry that affect quilters in general. Although rooted in tradition, Material Obsession started at the beginning of the modern movement combining the best of tradition with the freshness of modern in every way.
Kathy is a well- known quilt designer, international teacher, author of 6 books and fabric designer for FreeSpirit and Figo Fabrics. She’ll share process details of designing fabric collections.
Most recently her passion is Organic Applique … the path to taking control of creative projects!
